Clement Manirakiza, Tea Farmer in Rwanda. Inspired by my training at Kinneret College in Israel program.
4 hectares of Tea farm land size, my farm now expand over 6.6 hectares land size. I am producing 5000 kg of Tea green leaves per month. Employ 23 people as permanent workers on the field. Cultivated 3 varieties of Tea and supplying the harvest to the processing industries in Rwanda.
Future goals (in next 4 years):
- increase Tea cultivation from 6.6 hectares to 15 hectares land size
- increase the number of employees to 50 permanent workers
- increase of Tea production from 5000kg per month to 12000kg per month
